“Great cozy lodge! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was provided. The entire felt historic, rooms were cozy, and the views you get from the rooms and the breakfast dining room was amazing. Parking was slightly uneasy as there wasn’t markings outside of the lodge, during peak or busy summer times, if all the rooms are occupied, be prepared that the parking space outside he property will all be occupied too. Driving into the lodge was a long 80km/h road……

“The hotel is down a logging road 13 miles from the highway, as far as logging roads go it is in good shape. There is no restaurant at the hotel, so bringing your own food is a must. “We booked a studio flat with full kitchen. Hotel room was huge and the kitchen got everything you need. The spa facilities are very good with several hot tubs that you can dip into. But just tubs are a bit crowded. We were happy with the hotel itself but just the location was a bit too far....we drove from Jasper to this hotel, it took us forever to reach there. And after Banff and Jasper, you would find Kootenay a big disappointment in scenery. Making the drive to Panorama not worth it. But……
